DBS Indústria: New Investments Approved by Codam Boost Electric Mobility in Brazil

The Amazonas State Development Council (Codam) approved a historic record of 64 new industrial projects, totaling R$ 1.3 billion in investments and more than 3,400 new jobs in the state. The volume is the largest in the past ten years and reinforces the positive moment of the Manaus Industrial Hub, which remains a benchmark in technology, sustainability and innovation.

Among the highlights of the 315th meeting, held at the Senai auditorium, was the participation of DBS Indústria, represented by Raphael Di Mario, Chief Industrial Officer, who spoke about two new approved diversification projects:
the production of motorcycles of up to 450 cc, in partnership with the Italian brand Moto Morini, and the introduction of electric mopeds focused on urban mobility.

“These investments open the way for new clients and partners in the short term and allow us to project an initial production of around 200 units per month. It is a significant step for DBS and for strengthening industry in Amazonas,” said Raphael Di Mario.

With investments between R$ 500,000 and R$ 800,000, the new projects reaffirm DBS Indústria’s role as a strategic partner in national two-wheeler production, driving technological innovation and the sustainable development of the Manaus Industrial Hub.

The state of Amazonas continues to grow, with the PIM generating US$ 19.4 billion in the first half of 2025 and a 23% increase in industrial ICMS (state VAT) collection compared to the previous year — data that confirm the strength and credibility of the Manaus Free Trade Zone model.

For DBS Indústria, this movement is more than an achievement — it is the consolidation of a journey focused on production efficiency, innovation and strengthening electric and national mobility.
